Azienda Agrituristica Romitorio by Bacoccoli Giulia

The Agriturismo Romitorio is located in the municipality of Castiglione del Lago, on the border between Umbria and Tuscany. Inside the farmhouse you will find the small church of Sant’Antonio Abate. The wood-burning oven, which is still perfectly preserved and in use next to the church, indicates, from its considerable size, that the place must have been very popular in the past, as a convent, or as a reference for the inhabitants of the town or for pilgrims in transit to Rome. The Via Romea di Stade is on the trajectory.

The receptive structure is characterized by apartments with independent kitchen, it is however possible to take advantage of the internal catering service; the kitchen mostly uses products from the same farm where there is an orchard, from which fruit is harvested for directly processed jams, a vineyard, about 15 hectares of arable land where both Fagiolina del Trasimeno and Aglione della Valdichiana are grown and a small pig and buffalo farm.
